What is Imagine 2010?

110.000 young musicians all over the world have participated 100 of the very best are coming to Trondheim, Norway this summer. 15 bands of all genres doing are 30 concerts in 3 days.

All over the world, from Zimbabwe to France to Scandinavia, national Imagine festivals gathers thousands of young musicians playing all kinds of music. These festivals highlight  some of the very best young bands/ensembles in their respective countries, no matter if it’s rock bands, jazz groups, ensembles playing classical music, hip hop crews, DJs or something completely different. 

This summer, the best of the best from 12 of these countries are presented in one festival: The International Imagine festival 2010. Some 15 bands and ensembles with around 100 extraordinary young musicians in all genres from all over the world will be doing 30 concerts all over Trondheim during the St. Olavs festival. In addition to this, the artists will be engaged in workshops with some of Norway’s most renovated and respected musicians.
